As a Product Marketing Manager at
optIQ.AI, you’ll work closely with the engineering/product team and customers to understand the product roadmap and build launch assets. This role will partner closely with the Engineering and Marketing team.
You will work to understand the target audience, key issues they are experiencing, our unique value proposition, and competitive differentiators related to specific product modules. You will use this knowledge to develop GTM strategies and tactics, messaging, content, and training, as well as to influence product design decisions and timelines. We are seeking a Product Marketer that has been a technologist in the past.
The ideal candidate will have been a developer, DevOps, or have held some other relevant technology position at some point. You will be seen as the voice of our products.You will work cross-functionally to create product marketing content (e.g. case studies, sales enablement materials, product videos, web copies, competitive differentiation) that clearly and effectively communicates unique capabilities of our platform in customer language. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to build expertise and enable our Market Development.
As a Product Marketing Manager you will understand, orchestrate, and influence customer campaigns, marketing activities, and deliver product, solutions and customer campaign feedback to the business. An essential aspect of the role is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to
optIQ.AI customers and partners.
Roles & Responsibilities (what you will do): - Driving the go-to-market strategy for the company's ever-evolving product. You would be the in setting the GTM strategy for different markets and ensuring their flawless execution
- Understanding new markets, customer personas, geographies, products and competition and delivering actionable intelligence to the product, sales and other departments to maintain our competitive edge
- Engaging with partners, sales team and influencers to drive awareness and product demand. This will include collateral development, marketing events, and digital marketing activities.
- Collaborating to deliver high quality, high performing campaigns, assets, and activities that generates sales, and builds market share
- Owning Customer Marketing activities to continually educate our users about the product and company to increase user engagement, product adoption and retention
- Measuring the results/ metrics of marketing activities to enable data driven decisions on future marketing campaigns
- Lead product marketing strategy & execution for the enterprise, including new product and partner launches
- GTM planning: Quarterbacking go to market activities for marketing teams and enabling campaign
- Drive lead generation efforts across Linkedin and other platforms to drive sales growth
- Identify the right channels and ecosystem of partners to ensure
optIQ.AI reach to the right audience and drive conversion
- Uplevel the content used - proposal templates, client case studies, product fact sheets and competitive positioning
- Direct and channel B2B positioning, messaging and audience segmentation leveraging market and competitive research
- Create and maintain assets including but not limited to solution briefs, videos, presentations, blogs, email copy, and campaign copy
- Work collaboratively with product management, corporate marketing, and sales enablement to deliver assets, content, and training
- Perform funnel analysis, identify optimization opportunities, and take appropriate action with a cross organisational team
- Identify and write customer success stories
- Maintain competitive intelligence on the area(s) of product you support
- Actively look for ways to help
OptIQ.AI achieve its product marketing goals
- Drive efforts for building market awareness, pipeline / demand, as well as revenue
- Work across the marketing team to provide content for website, collateral, public and analyst relations, trade shows, online marketing, customer stories, and more
- Represent the company at various speaking engagements and conferences
- Deliver sales training and enablement and develop tools such as sales kits, ROI analysis, and messaging guides to enhance sales effectiveness
Key skills (what you need to have):: - At-least 7 years of dedicated b2b SaaS product marketing experience with 2 years as a manager in enterprise domain (startup experience, devops experience will be a bonus)
- A growth mindset and passionate about building things from the ground up, strong sense of ownership and a ‘lets-get-it-done’ attitude
- Ability to interact with senior leadership, Engineering, Product Management teams
- Good understanding of tools of the trade, i.e. SEO, SEM, sponsored content, account-based marketing, excellent communication skills, marketing analytics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously
- Having experience of US region is an added advantage
- Exceptional brand storytelling skills and experience building brand architectures
- Communication skills - Clarity and brevity in all forms of communication - ability to inform as well as influence is critical. Creativity to come up with unique concepts for engaging audiences.
- Excellent storytelling skills and experience creating product narratives and pitches
- Excellent content creation skills across multiple mediums, including video, whitepapers, blogs, ebooks, infographics, product and solution briefs
- Hustle - Ability to meet goals with sleeves rolled up - always finding a way to get things done with a sense of urgency and drive
- Leadership - Articulate a vision to teams, collaborate with cross-org stakeholders, deliver feedback, and everything in between
- Product Marketing - Strong understanding of Linkedin and marketing across different social media platforms
- Content - Manage teams to conceptualise and create content for brand marketing across channels
- Digitally Savvy - Driven to learn new technologies and tools
- Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage competing deliverables and timelines
- Willingness to travel to industry conferences, customer visits, sales meetings, and other places, both in the U.S. and internationally
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Eligibility (required experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus
- 5-10 years of experience with notable experience in marketing, sales and/ or product required
- +5 years of marketing experience in digital preferred
- Expertise with digital enterprise marketing tools (Linkedin, Salesforce, Google Suite, Pardot, Asana)
- Experience in a fast growing tech company is a must
